Leonard Albert "Lenny" Kravitz (born May 26, 1964) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor.
He has won four consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance (1999–2002), setting a record. With over 40 million albums sold worldwide, Kravitz has transcended genre with his unique blend of rock, funk, soul, reggae, and psychedelic influences.
His breakthrough debut Let Love Rule (1989) was followed by hits like "Are You Gonna Go My Way," "Fly Away," and "American Woman." Kravitz has also acted in films such as The Hunger Games (as Cinna) and Precious.
